He just did, which is why it’s hard to say whether she threw him out for being a tiger who ate her son, or for being the son who ate the roast she explicitly told him was for bridge night only.
I can’t say for certain, but I doubt there is a scenario that justifies whatever excuse or reason one has for interfering with a lady’s game night.

Here's my interpretation of how it went down (but I'll have to ask Travis what he thinks)
- Travis's mom arrives home after a stressful day of work (she's a nurse).
- already in a foul mood from her long day, she is DEFINITELY not happy to see the kitchen has been absolutely wrecked. It doesn't matter if the tiger standing before her is her son or not, but he's responsible for all the damage and chaos and his mom isn't thinking straight enough to connect the dots. (and to be fair who wouldn't panic upon seeing a tiger in their kid's bedroom)
- Between work and having to raise a kid by herself, she's super high-strung and struggles with anger and stress issues. Travis often finds himself the recipient of that stress. Bridge night/girlfriend hangout night is also her favorite way of relieving that stress and Travis messed it up. So I think tossing him out is just an impulse from how freaked out she is. She doesn't care if he's her son or not, she just wants that thing OUT of the house.
I also think what's interesting is that Travis just rolls with it. He's a 500 lb. death cat and he still lets himself get manhandled like a cub by a woman 3 times smaller than he is. Either dude has NO self resepect or he's just super scared of her. Of course, it's also possible he still thinks this is some sort of dream/ hallucination, and life will return to normal at any moment. So he's kinda just rolling with the punches

Being docile and demonstrating that you're not a threat is probably the wisest survival strategy in this situation
