I have fallen in love...and have been heartbroken...by that anime.

Its no secret I have been in a bit of an art crisis that is not wood burning related. I have been trying for quite some time to just...draw....and its been so hard. The curse of doing two different mediums that are so time consuming!!! I might have to take a break from the burnings for a while which means I will hopefully be able to focus more on drawing.

This was for fun. Pure fun. But....This is the 2nd time I have drawn my J-rocker in a more serious light....and I gotta say....I am falling in love with her too =) Really the only reason I did this pic was because I just wanted to draw and color hair, that is my favorite part of drawing a character, is their hair and it just ended up adding on to itself as it went. I added the lotus tattoo in there at the last minute because her arm was just so bare and it just fit so perfectly.....I plan to get that tattoo myself but on my wrist!!! SOOOO EXCITED!

Anyways, its still just a WIP because I am....wait for it.....wait for it.....going to add a background!!!! OMG!

Well...it won't be anything spectacular and detailed. I want to keep it simple because I don't want any kind of distractions from her. So I decided maybe rays of light with different shades of purple, to kinda give the feel of concert lights. But I was so excited about this that I just wanted to share <3
