It's Valentines Day as I was alone in my apartment, with no one to be with and playing Guilty Gear. During the playthrough, I was using the character related to that day, Jack O' Valentine. Indeed, her character is sort of similar to another holiday, but her last name is similar to the day of love. So with the combine holidays, she seems to be a bonified character. And the way she looks, she is a definite ten in my books. If only she was my date, then I would have a real good time with her.
Suddenly, I heard a knock at the door and wondered who it was. Pausing the game, I walked over to the door and opened it to see who it was. But by the time I opened it, no one was there. At first I thought it was nothing more then just some joke. But the moment I looked down, I saw something that was unexpected.
On the floor in front of my feet, there appears to be heart shape box with a title that says...
"Be a Valentine? What's this? Some kind of chocolates? Wonder who its from?"
Out of curiosity, I picked it up and went back into my apartment, wondering who gave me these chocolates. Getting into the living room, I opened the box and marveled at what it has. There appears to be a variety of candies with different shapes and sizes. A strange box, indeed. However, they look so tempting to eat. I have no idea where to start.
"Hmm... It has some weird shapes. Some of them looks strangely familiar. Wonder which piece should I get."
Looking through my options, I could see one chocolate candy in the shape like the Guilty Gear logo. Oddly enough, I played the game just now and as one of the characters with the first name related to Halloween and the last name related to what today is. I felt tempted to eat it.
"Might as well take a bite out of one of them. It is Valentines Day after all."
Picking it up, I tossed it into my mouth and started to chew on it. I soon felt the taste of a Recess cup in my taste buds as it is one of those types of candies you expect for trick or treating. Yet, it felt fitting for today as it never tasted so good.
"Mmm... This is so good! Tastes like...Halloween candy."
As I was chewing it, I felt my body tingling like crazy and caught me in a bit of a loop. It almost made me loose both my sunglasses and cap in the process as I didn't realized my brown eyes became a shade of green.
"Huh? Wh-What's happening to my face?!"
I can feel my face itching as it was molding into some female like features, complete with an oval face, thin nose, and plushy lips.
Looking at my hand, I can see it looking small and dainty with my fingers thinning and were very delicate. I soon notice a piece of black clothe spreading across my smoothy skin and covered my hand. Looking at the front end, I could see that it was a black and red glove that is similar someone I played. I wonder who?
As I starred at my glove, I could see sleeve jacket loosing it's black color and gaining some white, spreading up, or down, my arms while on the sides, I see multiple belt straps popping out of them and stopping for a bit. I was mesmerized by what is happening to me. You could say that I was feeling...ascended.
I started to feel my balance shifted as I could've sworn I was gaining a few inches in height. What was happening was that my sneakers were deteriorating and simplifying within my smaller and dainty feet as heels rose from the back ends to give me a pair of black high heels. At the same time, the bottoms of my blue jeans begin to split in half to expose my changing legs as white started to spread upwards and what appears to be an Egyptian cross woven to the sides with was strange letterings around it.
Meanwhile, my sunglasses and cap that was falling was going through a completely different changes. The glasses itself begins to thin and separate with the material becoming stainless steel with a metal clamp growing out of the end. The other end attached to the back end of the cap as the cap itself begins to enclosed at the bottom and was rounding out. It soon grew bigger and bigger as a jack o lantern's face appeared on the surface with a similar cross on the forehead. The moment that magical ball and chain landed on the ground, the clamp stretched to my ankle and fastened itself tight around it.
I felt the cold metal surface as I turned around to see it latch onto me. At first, I have no idea what it was or how it appeared on my ankle. But then, something in my brain told me what it was and I gave a smirk and responded in a childish, yet mature female voice.
"Hello, my precious Iron Pumpkin.
The ball magically came to life as it laughed an eerily laugh. I have no idea what thought came into my head. Perhaps...whatever is happening to my body is also affecting my mind. My old memories were being erased, replacing them with some new ones that are starting to becoming familiar. It's like I was less like myself and more like...someone else.
