Like any other Audino, Veil cares deeply for others, perhaps too much at times. But rather than healing her the wounds of her allies after the fact, she prefers to take a more proactive approach, taking all of the pain onto herself. She won't have to heal them if they never get hurt in the first place. Some may call Veil a masochist, but the truth is, she simply enjoys the rush of battle. The pain is only a minor annoyance compared to that. Slashing and bashing through her enemies with brash, yet calculated tactics, she makes herself the largest threat on the field so that her team can focus on offense. Outside of combat, Veil helps cook food, gives pep talks, and watches for any danger. Whether it's bandits, traps, the terrain, even emotional distress, she will be there to take care of the situation.

Veil believes that everyone is entitled to happiness, though for most of her life, she didn't include herself in that. Even though she was intelligent, funny, and a hard worker, it was never good enough for the high bar she had set. It was only after losing her first love that she realized that she had a purpose worth fighting for. Now, Veil is determined to live so that she can experience the best of what life has to offer for herself. Maybe it's fine to be a little selfish. ...It's much better than being completely selfless. She was that way once, and it made her empty.
