Behold, the Turken mount. Part turkey, part crane, all awesome. This was a real test of color balancing because it involves a color swatch I rarely to never use except as accents. The bright saturated tones of red, ocre and yellows was tricky.

While the size of the mount was inspired by the classic Chocobo of Final Fantasy games, I avoided looking at Chocobo art completely, and only relied on images of real turkeys and cranes to design it. That, and poses of pheasants doing a mating dance (second pose) and a bald eagle about to land (third pose)

The Midnight tail feathers release a magical induced sleep if the Turken activates them. (A fun little nod to how eating large turkey dinners induce food comas, which I thought was hilariously clever)
