Over on my Tumblr account I made a silly post showing my Rook from Dragon Age The Veilguard with a crow head "helmet", and made the joke that it's the only game where you can canonically be a magical transgender furry while saving the world (I've never felt so seen lol). The next day I got a request for some artwork of my character from the screenshot I posted. I intended to just do some silly sketches but I got a bit carried away and it ended up turning into a full piece.
My headcannon is that "rook" was my character's fursona name and Varric just rolled with it. Katarina looked like she was giving my character a serious stink-eye in one of the cutscenes so I also imagine it was her that was responsible for the their crow head ending up in the merchant shop after they left😂
