so, I despise Lostbelts and think they're the worst part of the fate series, so much so it makes it hard for me to like even the good things that come from them. As a result I have an unending desire to bully all the lostbelt girls (except for loli vinci, protect the precious daughter), so that's just what I'm doing. Here we behold the lostbelt curse. Morgan tries to lead her fairy knights to victory and glory, to show that they can defeat even the most powerful of foes in the hardest of ultra difficulty missions! Will she succeed? HAHAHAHAHAH, no. I hope they like dogs, because the wolves are hungry and seem to like them.
"COME MY KNIGHTS! MASTER THINKS WE ARE OF NO USE TO HER! BUT TODAY WE SHOW HER THAT WE ARE THE KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE! WE ARE NOT PALE COPIES OF THOSE FOOLS FROM PAN-HUMAN HISTORY, WE ARE GREATER THAN THEY COULD EVER BE AND TODAY WE PROVE IT!"
The queen of fairies Morgan Le Fae bellowed to her former subjects, her own version of the famed knights of the round table, fairies who had gained possession of part of the spirit origin of one of the real knights. The church hound Bargest now stood as her Gawain, her own daughter the vampiric Baobhan Sith took the origin of the romantic Tristan, and the dragon Melusine took the role of the most famed knight of all, Lancelot. In their own world, they had stood as the strongest, most beloved and most feared of all the fairy kingdom of Albion, but then THEY showed up. Gudako and Mash, the two laid waste to the kingdom to save their own world, the proper history of humanity. As if to add salt to the wounds, the fairy knights and their queen were all summoned by the very human who had been their undoing, even if they held little to no resentment anymore. But to be written off as powerless and useless, that was a disgrace the proud fae could not bare.
"TODAY WE SHOW HER AND THAT SHIELDER OF THE ROUND THAT WE CAN STAND BESIDE, NO, SURPASS EVEN THE STRONGEST SERVANTS OF HUMAN HISTORY! IF WE BEST THIS QUEST MASTER WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BE IN AWE OF US!"
Her knights cheered as she swung her great staff towards a trio of wolves and a distracted goblin.
"BARGEST! SHOW THEM THE MIGHT OF YOUR SWORD!" Morgan screamed.
The six-foot-two muscular woman charged forward, her shining plate mail clanging with every stride as she swung her version of the legendary greatsword Excalibur galantine towards the first hound, a pang of regret pierced her at the prospect of killing a fellow canine, but if it meant serving her master, so be it. She sprung into the air ready to cleave the chosen wolf in two. The creature finally gave her its attention, it let out a howl so loud it sent to towering woman crashing to the ground. Her massive chest crashed into the dirt with a yelp. Her sword flew out of her hand, her armour shattering like glass, the wolf pranced over to her broken body as she struggled for breath.
"How powerful are these hounds? To strike me down so easily?" she whimpered in pain, her body aching as if she'd just fought Mash again. The wolf sniffed the knight for a moment before barking, again Barghest felt the powerful bark tear through her body, she could feel her body struggling to maintain its form. She was beyond saving. The wolf's jaws snapped open followed promptly by inhaling the woman's feet.
"Agh! It's eating Barghest! Not again!" Morgan's daughter cried in terror, her body trembled. Her more modern red idol dress shook with every quiver of fear. Unfortunately for her, this was becoming a frequent part of their battles. The knights despite all the power they possessed had never won a battle since being summoned. But this time, this time would be different.
"Baobhan! Use Grimalkin to become invincible, lay waste to that foul mut!" Morgan shouted with full belief that her daughter would succeed, however, her daughter lacked that optimism. The vampire lifted into the air for a moment as a blast of energy struck all her allies, in doing so she became invincible for a short period as well as giving them the ability to dodge anything, in theory at least. With trembling hands she summoned her harp bow, she pulled the strings to fire blood at the wolves, the blasts struck them but did little if anything to them.
Barghest struggled weakly, clawing at the soil as her knees sunk into the wolf's gullet. No matter how much she tried to escape, the wolf's throat was infinitely stronger. It tossed its head into the air, despite the size difference between the over six-foot woman compared to the four-foot-long grey wolf, it held her in the air as if she were weightless.
"Someone kill this stupid thing! I don't want to be eaten again!" Barghest sobbed as her hips slipped down the animal's gullet, its jaws easily engulfing her toned stomach.
"Don't worry, nothing will survive my noble phantasm!" Melusine laughed, the dragon loli burst into the air with incredible speed, flicking her wrists sent a pair of blades as long as her arms sprang out of their arm-mounted scabbards, her futuristic purple plate armour did nothing to slow down her incredible speed as she shot towards the wolf, only for another to get in the way. Her blades crashed into the canine at a rocketing speed, she could feel her blades struggling just to puncture the nightmarishly powerful beast's skin, but she did feel the pop of flesh being impaled, once she was certain she had harmed the beast she drew her blades back and set a flurry of slashes at the hellish hound.
"Good job my knight! No doubt the foul creature is on its last leg now!" Morgan cackled sure of her victory. She had barely finished her words when the hound opened its mouth and snapped up the tiny dragon loli in a single bite. The entire meagre four-foot-eight dragon knight fit in its maw easily. She squirmed within the wolf's mouth. One swallow was all it took to send the dragon girl tumbling down its throat. Her long white hair clung to her body as she sobbed in the hot gut.
"Uh-oh, that's bad. Baobhan..." Morgan turned to find her daughter's feet thrashing in the maw of the third wolf, the rest of her already sealed away in its stomach. Her face pressed against the gut, her crying face clear for the queen to see.
"Ah, that's even worse. Barghest?" she turned her attention to the tallest of the knights. Her long golden mane dangled longer than the wolf currently making a meal of her as she fought against the encroaching jaws. Her massive chest was probably the only reason she hadn't already been consumed as they pushed against the lower jaw, her hands clasped to her fellow canine's mouth.
"Morgan! Help!" she cried weakly only for her hands to give out. The queen watched as her last knight shot between the animal's maw and down into its stomach resulting in a bulge larger than its body.
"Uhmm, oh crap."
Morgan swung her spear proudly, a nervous smile on her face as she pointed the weapon at the wolves with shaking hands.
"So you ate my knights?! So what! You stand before Morgan Le Fae! The queen of Avalon and Albion! The queen of the fae and greatest of all Lostbelt kings! Face me wretched beasts!" she called. Despite her proud claims, her voice wavered weakly. She aimed the mighty weapon, the long sword head surrounded by two massive axe blades made it a sight to see. It was the divine lance Rhongomyniad and with it, nothing would stop her!
"COME AND TASTE MY STEEL YOU FOUL-" her words went unfinished as she crashed to the ground, a fourth wolf already had her head in its jaws before she could realize what was going on.
"No! Not like this! I won't be defeated so easily again! Not by some mere mongrels!" she bellowed as the wolf sucked in her shoulders, her small chest slipped between the animal's maw. Her billowing black dress already clung to her thanks to the river of drool washing down her body.
"Stop this at once you foul mut! I am a queen, not a damned dog treat!"
Her small chest did nothing to stop the hungry wolf from devouring her entire torso in a single swallow, she kicked in useless defiance as the canine enjoyed its leisurely royal meal. The fact that the animal was unable to realize what a catch she was, that it was dining on a queen, no thought would be given to how she tasted or even the pride that could be taken from devouring her, to it, she was just a lump of meat. It only made this shameful turn of events worse. The wolf shook its head wildly, sending the queen deeper into its body. The smell of digesting meat made her want to wretch. The pulsing flesh felt like it was groping her. This was far from the first time she'd been bested since being summoned, it wasn't even her first time being eaten, but that didn't make it any less humiliating. She would be digested quickly given the dog seemed to have already eaten, she was up to her hips in acid already. As she squirmed about the tight gut her hand grasped something soft, fabric. Out of the gastric juices, she pulled a cap with gold trim.
"Ah, that's where you went sister. I was wondering what happened to you. How pathetic, you were eaten as soon as we arrived." the queen took some smug satisfaction in knowing that her so-called "wonderful and amazing" sister had been the first to fall victim to the wolves.
"I guess all I can do is wait until we all digest. No matter, I have no doubt in my mind we did better than last time. Soon we will conquer this foolish challenge and Master will see why I am the best choice to be her bride."
Morgan flicked her head side to side in disgust as her vision lit up. Finally, she was back at Chaldea. The feeling of being digested alive never got better. But no matter she was back. She was greeted by the mournful faces of her loyal knights, all of them looking at the floor in defeat.
"Don't be ashamed. We fought valiantly, even if we lost, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Be proud that we fought impossible odds and went down with weapons in hand.
"I didn't," Barghest whined weakly.
"Me either," Baobhan Sith sighed in agreement.
"....but you two did fight to the end! Unlike a certain caster, I could mention." Morgan shot a murderous glare at the final member of their team, her sister Arthuria. This Arhturia had never become king but rather the apprentice of Merlin instead, and as a result, she knew what none of her teammates did.
"Come! Let us try to vanquish this impossible-rank mission once more! CHARGE!" Morgan led her knights back into the chamber for another battle, not for one moment wondering why their caster sat huddled into a ball crying.
Being trained by Merlin had given her a kind of clairvoyance, it allowed her to see things the same way their master did. How much health their foes had, their levels, and how close they were to using their strongest attacks or skills, it was what made Gudako such a skilled master, she was always aware of what she was up against. And The crying caster had seen through those eyes what they had been up against.
It wasn't some ultra difficulty mission. That couldn't have been more wrong. If Morgan was a caster, she would no doubt have realized the folly of their endless attempts. The weakest among the group had been Morgan's daughter Boabhan Sith at level seventy-two. The strongest wolf they had fought was only level seven. No matter how strong they were, no matter the buffs or stats they had, they would never win against even the weakest enemy. Now she understood why Gudako and Mash had torn Avalon apart like angry gods. It was the curse of the Lostbelt, even the greatest Lostbelt warriors were never even a fraction as strong as a mildly strong human. All she could do was cry and envy her sister's ignorance. Melusine's noble phantasam? Morgan had assumed it nearly killed the wolf, in truth it had done so little harm the wolf hadn't even noticed. No matter how many times they threw themselves at that mission or any other, the end result would be the same.
What could she do but cry? Cry and pray she was never sent on any mission as a sacrifice to bloat some hungry monster.
