The foreign soldier kept pace ahead of the Sargent, running fast as he could to where the he saw Firefight and the others set up for something. It was just insight when came an explosion like no other. Than man ducked for the ground, when he heard it, but he saw no smoke or fire from what ever had exploded.
"Hey, Hey!" The Sargent shouted and grabbed the man, "Come back with us, Our orders is to stay back!"
gunfire is just heard over the ridge, and then another one of those flameless explosions.
"What is it your people say?" the man said, "A good soldier never leave a man behind?"
The Sargent didn't say anything to that, his teeth were gritted as he tried to come up with words. His hands a much stronger steel trap though. "We're heading back, let them do what they are suppose to.."
The man didn't say a word, just nodded to him. The moment the Sargent let go of him, the man walked with the Sargent, but the when the Sargent took his eyes off him, he went running back for the site.
Finally over the ridge, the man found the battle had moved on without him, but what was left behind was astounding. Crystals were found at the area alongside debris and dead bodies... no, feeling how cold the massive crystals were, these actually were Ice. massive ice formations on an arid mountain. Gunfire rang out further below, drawing the mans attention and running away from the Sargent again.
Catching up with the fight at last, the scene below was not something natural in the slightest. At one area, the rabbit, tiger, and fox were hidden behind another mass of ice; the rabbit seemed to make the ice form larger and wider with just a move of her hands, all while the tiger had his machine gun mounted on the icy barrier and shooting away. Beyond them was four of the other soldiers. The lizard and coyote shot forth bolts of lighting and waves of fire with just the motions of their hands, and in between them both was wolf who shot and killed despite burning alive in the crossfire.
A couple rockets came roaring down from above, but then they swerve and exploded into one another. The man was baffled and looked to see which one of them caused such a thing, but there was no clear sign, they were all still fighting... no, slaughtering their enemies in fire, lighting, and lead.
The coyote called out again, "Forward, forward men!" then he and four others went running down the mountain.
"We're good, move down!" The fox shouted, vaulting over the icy barrier and running up. Following behind her was the tiger with the machinegun, and then the rabbit behind them."
Following best he could The man watched from afar, Over the matter of minutes, they were at the base of the mountain. trucks were resting with missile racks on flatbeds. cars and trucks around them with guns mounted on top. Every weapon that wasn't a missile turned on the group. While some took cover behind rocks, the rabbit just waved a hand and ice rapidly built up and made a thick, growing block of ice to take cover. It looked like they had all been pinned down by gunfire. The man drew his rifle, poised to shoot at one of the mounted guns. Then, the gunfire seemed to lessen. Looking through his scope, the man just saw a blur moving through the camp with small flashes of gunfire. The men down there would try to look for who it was, then get shot in the back of the head. The thing doing this only stopped for a moment, it was that grew wolfess from before, a pair of pistols as would turn and dash into a blur shooting people. Just one unusual soldier within their back line, and the enemy was fighting on two fronts.
