Spring 21, Year 2

Beep's attempt to use his Nexus led to him learning the bright flash of magic was incredibly disorienting. Eventually he'll learn to close his eyes before stepping into the magic circle.

"I hear Beep's actually some kind of rare deer. Endangered or vulnerable so they're very rare to see."

"I heard he's way outside of his species usual habitat, got lost during some migration or something."

"Has anyone told you? His kind of deer has incredibly low successful birth rates. They rarely produce viable offspring."

"I think the high levels of magic in the valley are what caused such an odd deer to gravitate here. It makes sense. There's something clearly magical about him, harmless as he is."

"No, he can't be a monster. Those are dangerous, and he's done nothing but help the folks here."

The rumour mill of Pelican Town was lively in the Saloon most evenings, and all it took was a single night for Marlon and a few other trusted voices to spread the word. Most were true as far as Marlon was aware, maybe one or two stretching the truth. Either way, it would keep folks from looking into what Beep was, or misidentifying him.

Stardew Valley Expanded; new maps, new NPCs, new events, a LOT of new stuff.
The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly.
