That's right, I'm supposed to post the chapter headings from my assorted Patreon stories in my Scraps.

I just re-read a bunch of Fission Chicken stories. Great fun! I'd love to collect the whole FC opus in a big book collection. Does anyone know who John P. Morgan's heirs were, if any? Who's actually got his art files?

Well, which J.P. Morgan are you speaking of? J.P. Morgan, Sr. (1837-1913) was the one that built the Morgan Library in New York. He had a son, J.P. Morgan, Jr., (1867-1943) who was his principal heir, though he had three other children. J.P. Morgan, Jr. also had four children, including two sons, J.P. Morgan III (1892-1960) and Henry S. Morgan. J.P. III had a son, John P. Morgan II (1918-2004), so there was a direct male heir of J.P. Morgan Sr. leaving at least as late as 2004.
I believe Joe Strike knew the contact details for J P Morgan's mother, but she herself might've passed away by now.
The complete collected Fission Chicken (all the Fantagraphics strips, including from Critters) would only run to a couple hundred pages -- though I suppose there was a lot of online stuff as well. Also I wonder what the condition is of Morgan's original art pages after 30+ years.
In any case it's good to see the Chicken live on beyond poor J P.

Update: J P Morgan's mother passed away last year at the age of 89. R.I.P.
