Phantom belongs to my boyfriend
It has been a long and rough night for everyone in the pack, winter was rough at this moment with so much snow making it hard to find large enough prey for everyone to be able to eat. Aspen has been working nonstop to ensure her pack was always well fed even in the most harshest of winters. Live in the northern forests were never that easy but she signed up for this when she moved her pack this way to get away from those horrible allosaurs that she hated so much with a burning passion that rivaled even the bright sun above. With a deep sigh Aspen returned to her pack with her head tilted down signaling to them that she was unable to find anything in the deep snow once again. The pack didn't much care since they were all well fed and could easily just work into their fat reserves Aspen couldn't help but feel like a bad matriarch for being unable to provide.
Moving over and sitting beside her mate and rested her head on his shoulders, laying there for several long minutes before Phantom finally spoke up. "Just because some hunts result in nothing found does not mean you didn't do all that you could to try and find food for us all my dear. You work endlessly to keep us all fed in the winter time and that is more then any of us in this pack could ask for. We are all well fed, we do not mind spending a few nights without food. We're all fat enough to be able to dip into our fat reserves if it truly calls for it. Rest and we will search a bit later on after you've gotten enough rest so that we may search for prey together." This made Aspen look to Phantom with a small smile on her lips before she nodded to him. his kind words always helped her when she felt down about herself even if she pushed herself beyond what she needed to do. "Thank you my love, your words always bring me comfort and a sense of relief. We will search later. I'm sure we'll find something." With that Phantom leaned close and pressed his nose to Aspen's in an affectionate and playful boop which made her chuckle.
