Spring 9, Year 2

Gunther had been asking Marlon if any of the Adventurer Guild members could escort him into the Mines. There was plenty of artefacts and minerals to be discovered, if what Beep had brought him over the past year was any indication! Unfortunately, everyone was busy. However, Beep happened to be leaving the Mines after talking with the Dwarf when the pair spotted him.

If monsters never bothered Beep, would it be the same if someone was travelling with him?

Gunther had to practice some sword moves first, and declare he was doing this with full acknowledgement of the potential dangers, but Beep agreed to escort Gunther down into the Mines to look for artefacts. While the Adventurer Guild members were teaching Gunther, Beep laid down in the grass nearby. His situation hadn't gone unnoticed by Marlon's attentive eye. He acknowledged Beep liked his privacy, but was this something he needed help with? No. Was there anything he needed? Another shake of a cervine head. Marlon walked off to help Gunther.

This was a natural occurrence every year. Last year was an outlier, but then again, getting thrown into a different realm was bound to fuck up a few things.

His thoughts abandoned as Gunther was ready. Exploration of the Mine took less time than anticipated. With Beep walking aside him, no monsters bothered the human. Aside from one bug that quickly became a nuisance, and then dinner, there were no issues. They even found a hidden trove of artefacts!

Once Gunther was done, Beep returned home, then to his hidden lair. He had some notes to check and calculations. If this one had been dormant since last spring, this could be a valuable implement in getting him home...

Stardew Valley Expanded; new maps, new NPCs, new events, a LOT of new stuff.
The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly.
