The militia and Soldiers watched as all the new members gathered their weapons and started marching back to the old caves they were using. One of the younger foreigners came to a soldier about this, "What do they plan to do?" He asked, "Aren't they suppose to be helping us?"

"They are, and still will be." The sergeant said, "What or how they play do to that is something I don't get paid to know about."

"And what if they fail?" the man asked, "There are some things, man just cannot do."

"Just do what they say, they should be fine." the sergeant said,

"All of you stay put." Firefight said, "Orders come from Dalton Riley himself. We'll handle things from here."

The sergeant swallowed hard at the name, but then saluted to him. Then the weapons went their own way.

"Where are they going?" one of the militia ran up to the sergeant, "Should we not go with them on this?"

"They'll handle it." The sergeant said, "Our orders are to stay here and watch the prisoners."

The man looked to the prisoners being held by a tent, as well as the many soldiers both part of this US military as well as militia the man was from. "We out number those others who were sent, "Why would you not send more? It sounds like you are sending them to die. What are they exactly planning to do?"

"It's classified," The sergeant said, "Sometimes you gotta just trust what someone can do."

The man was looking at him more curious and concerned, "What are they really? My people all talk, they've seen one these things not flinch at being stabbed or cut open. The work they do is without any rest, just changing positions."

"They're the best," The sergeant said, "That's all I can say."

"Then, as they say. Seeing is believing." The man said, and went running, the Sargent running after him.




At the old cave campsite, all the weapons were moving into positions based on Firefight's orders. "Sue, Shadow, head off on the sidelines, head around the and down the mountain. You're not to engage directly, save your ammo for for when you find where they are launching their rockets..."

"Works for me!"

"Oh, they won't know what hit them."

"...Foresight, Tremor, You're to back up Frostfight. she'll be our second line." Firefight said, "There's no retreat for you, When we move, you move forward. We'll need to cover position to keep pressing on them..."

"Sounds fitting. Max can use my ice for both cover and a brace."

"I'll do what I can for cover fire."

"Just be sure you listen to me, both of you."

"...Circuit, Deathless, Tessa, and I will act on the offense." Firefight continued, "Leave none of them alive."

"Yes Sir," Tessa and Deathless responded.

"...That's our plan." Firefight said, finishing up, "Now get in position, we're going from an ambush to the full offense."

All of them ran for their hiding points and then waited.

So... turns out it will be a while before internet and my new set up is ready. And I don't want to keep you all waiting, so I'm going to return to my usual schedule until the stories are done.. then, who knows... maybe I'll have things ready to continue.
