Walking toward the old site, Firefight was accompanied by Sue Dan Blitz and Deathless Laceter. They could see just the weakest of smoke as they drew closer, but they spotted Shadowblade walking up to meet them just when the caves were in view.

"Report."

"Lots or rockets, and a few more attempts. There's quite a number of them." Shadowblade explains, "They're coming up quicker. I think they know to come this way."

Firefight looked to her, and then looked away with a huff, "Come with me, so you can rest." Then he pointed to Sue and Laceter "Keep watch."

Shadowblade walks beside Firefight, holstering her sniper rifle. "Are you finally gonna talk with Dalton about this?"

"I have to. Once they find out they hit the wrong spot their gonna make a foot hold here while relocating their efforts." Firefight said, and huffs hard. "It's a battle on two fronts and we're still holding out and waiting."




Going back to the camp, Firefight walked straight to the radio and comes they had up. "Turn it on. I need to speak with Dalton."

Circuit looked between her commanding officer an the machine, The comes turn on, "Sir, the machine's exposure to elements has caused difficulty as is and loss of excess fuel."

"I just need one conversation with him, Circuit." Firefight said, "After we move on how we see fit."

Circuit looked to him for a moment, and then she nodded and started up the generator.




It took some time but the radio turned on again.

"Dalton, this is Firefight. Do you read me?"

"Firefight, you better have a good report." A voice growled back over the static of the machine. "I've already got my own issues trying to find out how the hell they got their hands on OUR weapons."

"Unfortunately, I got the other news, and a request." After a lot of roars and shouting, Firefight took a breath and continued, "They are advancing and use the cover or rocket fire while they progress on up. We relocated the soldiers to help keep them save, but it won't be enough."

"I'm not looking for excuses," Dalton growled, "I want results!"

"Sir, with the militia and soldiers away from most of the fight..." Firefight said, "I request me and my men launch a counter attack. Send them running back down the hill."

There was no answer for a moment, but the smile could be felt with how Dalton answered the coyote with a different tone.

"Granted."
