After the dissolution of the Soviet Republic, Elza Sobol was no longer beholden to Moskva and the rot it represented, and could return to her now-free homeland. However, the world had gotten even more complicated, and suitcase nukes and other such hard-to-track weapons had fallen into the wrong hands.

But she could find them, and get rid of them. It was the least she could do to make up for what she did as an agent of the soviets.
