Ydjark is a Mermaid. Uses She/Her pronouns and has the equivalent of 25 human years. Her total length is 3m, making her a small specimen.
Her alignment is Chaotic Neutral and has no specific job, but likes creative stuff.
She's a shy, quiet mermaid, which seems to be the norm in the species. Will not let you get close by any means and will swim as far as possible if you try to get near her. She's barely seen above the water or near coasts, but will sometimes interact with people on boats (probably to try to scare them away). Prefers the company of other sea creatures (any animal will do for her!) and seems to eat only meat- Careful! Will bite!
Her favourite place to hide is a small cave near a rim, where she keeps multiple bones and a variety of crystals, probably some jewels and coins, too.

Even though they seem to be scaredy and shy, these mermaids will not let you get close without a fight. We've seen them attack our researchers, they're pretty aggressive if you find their comfortable place to hide. They're more animal-like behaved but they're able to feel "Human emotions and rationality" as some of our experiments dictate, a real surprise coming from such dangerous creatures. They don't live in a society per sé unless they find a mate (for life!) which will keep together and raise their offsprings until they mature and leave the territory.
Mermaids are often seen interacting with some humans, but we still don't know what makes them special for such contact. Huh... Guess that's the update for now, logging out, 'later!
