Suzocon-sama can and just might wipe that guard from the face of the planet. And that's how the fight would really start.

I pretty sure guard was sent to find Saida by Queen (only noticing the fake omin eye during conversation) so it didn’t matter. Definitely higher rank guard base on fact it knows ball is significant.

She also was having the guards do a lot of the charging of it, remember. So yeah, any guard that had been assigned to charging duty would instantly recognize the faux Eyestone. The fact that Suzocon-sama has exactly the same charging setup as she used would greatly increase how sus it all looked.

why do i feel the orange one is roko

No kitsune ball. Roko is... tied up at the moment, and that's also why Suzocon-sama could transform into a disguise. Can't do that around someone that can see through all illusions. But with Roko in an Droste Infinity Trap, he can do whatever.

That is a hoshi no tama- or a kitsune starball.

Well, the eyes gave it away. Before I realized that he was wearing his kitsune starball, ha ha.

He is. To add to Tacet a little, hoshi no tama actually means "ball of stars," the name for what Roko calls a Kitsune Ball. It is traditionally where they store their soul, and is the source of a lot of their power. If you steal it, then like a djinni they are forced to follow your commands - you have their soul. But the gods help you when they get it back...

Also it is the ONE thing they cannot disguise. He must always wear his hoshi no tama visibly. Notice how small it is compared to Roko's honking big pendant. That's not by accident. It helps keep people's eyes off it.

That his eyes didn't change is more artistic license. A thousand year old kitsune's disguise would normally be flawless, but the viewers needed an immediate clue that that wasn't a quetz, but Suzoocon-sama.

I'm a study of ancient Japanese folklore. Probably makes me a weeaboo, but seeing someone like Virmir actually use some of the folklore was very much satisfying.

My most recent OC is a kitsune with 750 TAILS that he can manipulate at will. Though he isn't too friendly nor nice. He is known to pick fights against large creatures. His 750 tails combined with his kitsune powers makes him almost a GOD.

As I've explained in games before, deception is not mind control; doesn't matter how high a roll you get, someone will not believe something that is self-evidently a lie by their own observations.

So my guess is the inevitable big fight will cause enough shaking to knock over and/or shatter at least one of the mirrors, freeing Roko who will then do something.
