"So, you're just cruising through space, when your ship starts making a weird noise. You have to set down at the nearest inhabited planet with a service shop... which happens to be Planet Betelgeuse, home of the Betelgeusians. They're all pretty adorable, so, why not. So you take your ship down, get it checked in at the shop and go to your hotel.

Unfortunately, Betelgeusians are quite tinier than humans, so everything on this planet is small. Including your bed, which you barely fit on. As you drift off in a weird, uncomfortable sleeping position, you wish that you were better made for this bed, being the perfect size and shape.

What wonderful timing for a blast of stray Pyonium energy to strike you from the farthest reaches of the universe, giving you a surprise when you wake up in the morning. You'll at least feel way more comfortable and well-rested."

So the rest of the "Unfinished/Unpublished" stuff I'm uploading over the next week isn't going to be as clean and finished as this one, I just figured it would be quick and look nice. In fact, pretty much all other of these uploads are going into scraps.

I drew this to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Space Dandy, which I rewatched over the year. The episode where the crew is stuck in a time loop on Meow's home planet is still one of the best episodes, even with my furry biases, lol.
