"Are you sure this is what healers wear?"
She looks back at you with a face that is unusually red. Your intentions were pure, at first. She always wore looser, skimpier clothing without any complaint. In fact, when she complains, it's always about the heat. Robes and cloaks always ended up in the pack, and she'd fan herself in an outfit that would barely qualify as smallclothes half the time. Strutting around without a hint of shame in her features; at times you almost thought she was inviting looks as much as she was attempting to beat the heat.
That's why, when she expressed an interest in learning the healing arts, you had a set commissioned that would suit her tastes, yet maintain an air of the spellcaster's style. Made by one of the finest tailors known for incorporating spellweave to magnify spell effects, you stole away with one of her usual outfits as a reference. It was kind of cute, actually, watching her cheeks flush as she pulled down on the hem of the skirt, her tail curling around to cover her front.
...Admittedly, the skirt was rather short, barely covering her backside. And the top would've likely fit better as lingerie, were it not for the silver clasp that connected to the hooded shawl covering her shoulders. The stockings were breathable, but... maybe they were a bit much. Thinking on it a bit more, there was a bit of unnecessary flair that accentuated the attire. And you're certain heels don't have much practical application in combat scenarios. In some ways... it's more enticing than if she were just in smallclothes. Maybe you picked the wrong outfit to bring the tailor--
She catches you staring, and her eyes narrow a bit. Now she wants answers, and you do your best to stammer out your response:
"Y-Yeah. I mean, you always complain about being hot--" The gaze narrows further. "--a-and the hood and skirt are kind of like a robe. White is a common color for healers, and..."
Thank the gods her staff wasn't ready yet; you're already imagining the wallop to the back of your head from it.
