I finally made a Female variant of Khan's species! Featureing  Vena as a Female Royal Nargamuto ("Mothcat" to most other civilisations in the settled systems of Starfinder)

Female Mothcats are generally bigger than the Male counterparts on average, with  Vena here exemplifying the largest size canonically, similarly sized to Khan's mother, Once- Matriarc of a powerful noble house.

The difference between male and females include, but might not be limited to

- Front leg is Graspers for females, and stabby hooks for males
- Females have larger antennae-horns than males acting as a "crest"
- Females wings are smaller to point of vestiguality. Some may not be born with wings at all, or even additional insect limbs replacing them.
- Females will often have Saber Teeth, since their front legs have lost their ability to inflict grevious wounds, the large teeth can pierce strongly-armoured prey.
- Females are on average taller/larger than Males, but there can be exceptionally small Females, and exceptionally large males (IE, like most Humanoids size dispersions)
- Females are also more massive than their male peers, sometimes doubling in weight as they approach maturity - especially those of Royal Bloodlines. Vena here is definitely deep into the obese territory, even for females of Khan's species. The extra mass is for energy stores and protection of gestating eggs, and for driving off predators and rivals from the Young or Unhatched in their primordial past.
- Due to their larger, weightier nature, they usually have Chitin on their underbellies to act like "Skid plates" so they can drag their mass across the floor without damaging their fur or flesh
- Females are also strong Psychers, most females can cast equivilant of rank 2 or rank 3 spells without strict training. Basic spells are common among all Nargamuto. (Khan being the outlier by being especially magically attuned, can cast the highest possible spells with sufficient training/experience)
- Females are rarer in Khan's species, (Approximate 1:4) but make up for lower numbers by having high birth rates due to their Insectile influences.
- Females often held great importance in early civilization of Nargamutos, being reverred and worshiped, or divided among several "Brood Mother" Kingdoms run by abolutely massive instances of Female Royals, before Modern forms of a Feudal/"house" system took over. Like Dune, but less assholes.
