Becouse he would mop theese incompetent clowns in the parlament away!!! Dictatorship seems like a refreshing new idea compared to this DEMOS-cracy were having at present! D< Also dictators are ussualy people with a strong charisma so at least he won't give into every piece of shit the EU presents us with like Brat Pahor here for instance >____>
You do know that a dictatorship can go very, very, VERY wrong. Giving a guy total control's great if he doesn't abuse it, is smart enough to do the job and is benevolent, but if he takes advantage of his position, is a bit of an idiot and selfish than there is no stopping him.
Here's a good list of what can go horribly wrong under a dictator

At least with a democracy you aren't gambling everything on a guy being an actually good person. Democracies mean you get the consent of the people, and there are checks and balances to make sure no-one gets too powerful.

Noone can get too powerfull my ass. A lot of people can get powerfull they drink money of the country like leaches while some people are just lucky to leave a decent like refering to me and my family and some not refering to Bosnian immigrants. Democracy isn't good I have no idea how it can be good here =_= This what were having isn't democracy it's DEMOScracy from our leading party DEMOS. ALlready the Delo newspaper said that a dictator would be better than this. Well of course things can go wrong under dictatorship but I am rather sick of capitalist sites who only know to spit on communism and nothing else, while they don't even know what it's like >_> You have dictatorships that are not under communism too for fuck sake =_= Sorry ><' Anyway yeah I support dictatorship at the moment. As long as it's someone who isn't currupt (like most people in parlament atm) or incompetent (reffering to mr. Borat Pahor >_>) he's got my green light. Anytime.
In ANY country you will have people who are well off and those who can barely struggle. That's inequality, and it's only natural. You can control and narrow it, but it will always be there. THere's a point where it is unacceptable, but some inequality is always expected
And I will always pick a democracy over a dictatorship. Sure things might not move quickly enough, but you taking a big, big gamble by trusting one person with all the power in the country.
Have you ever heard of the concept of "Seperation of Powers?" It an absolute fundamental concept of democracy everyone needs to understand. It was realised that a King, in absolute authority of the country, has 3 basic powers
1. Create or Remove laws
2. Enforce these laws and run the country day-to-day
3. Declare something legal or illegal
In a democracy, these 3 powers are separated into 3 branches who cannot transfer power from one to another, and effectively act as Checks and balances to make sure no one can get too powerful.
In America, the branches are Legislative (Congress and Senate) who create or can remove laws, Executive (The President and his Cabinet [or ministers]) who enforce these laws, and the Judiciary (The Supreme Court) who declare a law legal or illegal (Constitutional or Unconstitutional, whether it's acceptable to the constitution).
Each of these branches have other powers, but the point is theoretically a dictator can never get all the power to be a dictator. Also, if one of them gets out of line the other branches can step in. If the president gets a little crazy and decides to invade Canada for whatever reason, the Judiciary can impeach him (kick him out), or the legislative can pass a law against the invasion. You can see here that no-one can get too much power under a democracy.
This is of course has a bit more to it, but that's the basic idea. So a democracy is much safer than a dictatorship because no one can get too powerful.

Zear I guess this works fine in some countries but for whatever reason it doesen't seem to work well in mine D< I red the current issue of Mladina a crytical polytical magasine that describes the current polytical situations of my country. You explain to me, how is it that a person who abused his polytical priviliges to protect himself not only by doing ileegal actions but aqlso later when he waqs called to trial FOR theese ileegal actions...not to mention the fact of how he with his immense salary is able to buy the BEST lawyer in Slovenia (and he IS good realy good) and how the fuck he can still be the president of the biggest opposition party? And why all of the big bulls in ouir parlament seem to have caught themselves in one or another affair? D< And how come nobody is happy with democracy in this country at the moment? YOu make it better I'd like to see that! D< Allready how it pisses a person off that such leaders lead a country they don't even lead it WELL, they keel replacing old somewhat-consarvative socialist laws that at least worked with new fully untested laws copied directly from Germany or France...dude this is exacly why Comerade Marshall Josip Broz Tito said 'No' to Stalin: ''No two countries are the same. You cannot have the same model of Socialism in every country it has to be made individually. You can copy some laws but only if you are sure they will work...''. Let's face it the bright heads in the parlament have nothing to do so they copy theese laws...god fucking dammit leave the laws alone! We will still pay you taxes just Stop changing them your not making any sence at all TwT Argh...What am I talking about? The new laws passed just one month ago say if you drive 3o km/h more than perscribed you loose your licence and must pay a 6oo€ fine...dude the leaders can easyl afford this and they drive fast I'm not asing this Katarina Kresal the president of another party was caught driving realy fast (I forgot how fast I am not good with numbers ><) on the highway...of course she didn't have any problems paying it off~ Flawed Democracy makes poor people suffer and it seems stupid to have democracy in a country that is not too weathy then...am I right? >_> A bad dictator....that would be bad yeah. A capable dictator, COUNT ME IN!

Nono XP He was the Marshall of Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia was socialist yup but was not working with the Soviet union and was NOT part of the eastern block. We had a different version of socialism as them called 'Worker's selfmanagment'. Tito and Stalin had a fight XP War allmost broke out Socviet tanks gathering alloung our border but it didn't happen. Tito, his mother was Slovenian his father was Croatian and basicly he did what no other man could he brought together 7 nations that NEVER in history got along with eachother (or if yes just briefly) and with the code of 'brotherhood and unity' and 'we are all brothers' brought theese conficting nations together to form Yugoslavia >XD It had 5 languages, 2 writtings and 3 religions and 7 nations. And get this. When Tito was alive all nations had equal rights but allmost immedietly after he died in 198o Slobodan Miloševič started making his plans and using the Yugoslav army to speak for Serbia as the ruling nation and more important nation of Yugoslavia. Andaa that's how the Yugoslav war in perion 1991 1995 started...a lot of people killed on all sides. Most in Bosnia counting together military and civil casulties arround 6o,ooo people :c
