I can't stand Cars the movie. I don't care if it's actually a good movie, I just can't stand the idea of a world populated only by cars. How do they reproduce? Did someone build them in the first place? I can't watch that movie without thinking: "why cars why cars WHY CARS WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE FUCKING CARS!?!!"

I argued that as well, what was there before the cars? According to the original plot, the junkyards were graveyards.

Plus you never see the interiors to the cars, never see doors open.

I enjoy the film, simple, fun escapism.

I bet there's skeletons in there. D: that would make sense. Humans advanced their cars so much, that they became self replicating and self aware, carbon emissions were making the planet unlivable for humans, so we tried to shut the cars down, but in order to preserve themselves they locked us in themselves and sat in garages while running! OH GOD WHY WOULD YOU MAKE SUCH A DARK MOVIE?!!?

I'm sure if I actually had to sit through the movie I'd enjoy it to an extent, but just the idea of it irks me. That and finding Nemo. Like every other Pixar movie makes my brain hurt, and the other ones I enjoy.

I personally can't wait until CarsII comes out. I loved the first movie. I guess because as a child, I imagined that cars were really animals.
