The hug lasted for a time, and people started to stare. Loretta was the first to notice this and let go of Mira, "Could you promise me, you won't speak to Artison of this?"
Mira nodded at first, then lowered her ears realizing something, "You don't want him to know about his parents? Lucrecia is still family."
"Yes, but she tried to..." Loretta held her tongue, "Just think about it, and how we got to where we are now. If he learns this, how well do you think he would react to it?"
Mira did think about this, and started looking away. "He deserves to know still. I understand if you don't want to talk about it at all, but he should know... I could tell him."
Loretta raised a hand, but nothing came from her mouth. Objection was against this, but it clearly wasn't she could sustain on the morals. She took a hard sigh that turned soft, "Alright, let's go home and.. you can tell him."
A portal opened to home and the two walked inside the penthouse. Mira walked right for the doors to the laboratory, but Artison was running toward Mira, "Artison, I should tell you something I found out."
"I'll just need a moment, Mira, Pardon me." Artison said and ran right for Loretta, "Sister, I have been working on something that we should take to the council."
"Another creation?" Loretta said, looking between him and Mira, "Let me see the schematics.." They followed Artison to the kitchen, and he unrolled the blueprints across the table. Loretta's eyes went wide looking over these complex designed. "Artison, what are these? This has to be your biggest model for a machine yet."
"Loretta, this is to rebuild the orphanage, down below." Artison said, pointing things out, "The supports here are gonne be more reinforced because of these steel beams, and then putting some of some plaster on the inside and plates outside means we could fit insulation in between. This design should both house children and hold allow more and for their needs..."
Mira and Loretta was looking this more shocked than paying attention to what he was talking about. "Artison, this was what you were doing in the lab all this time?"
"Indeed." Artison said with a smile, "I couldn't shake it from my mind. Down below really is being abandoned, we cannot continue doing that." His tail wagged as he looked back to the blueprints, "Once we have this built in a few weeks, we would just need to speak with the clergy for people who would help run this place again."
Loretta walked over by Artison as they were all looking at these master plans. "These really are amazing. But you said it burned down like before, and I assume no one came back to help the orphans afterwards. Are you sure this could stop it from falling apart again?"
"Well, Since I can't always be jumping through The Ring to explore dimensions, I could use the time I have after reports to check on the orphanage. Take up directing it, maybe?"
Loretta's smile turned soft, and she hugged him, "Brother, you've got a beautiful heart. Although, you should still look for others who could help. that is a full time job along side your other works."
"You're talking about the clergy, or maybe a member up of the church, up top?"
"Yes, Absolutely, work with them so you don't have to run three different operations in your life." Loretta said, "Goodness, I could even requisite some members of my fleet to carry out construction of this. It could relatively be considered an emergency on the homeland."
"Maybe I could use my hysteria to make a portal between Up Top and Down Below." Mira added "Make things move a little faster."
"Sounds like we'll all be carrying out this plan." Loretta said, "We just need to find the right time and scheduling for the labor."
"I'll think of something, I always do." Artison said, and got out of his big sister's hug, "Oh, that reminds me, could one of your fleet's ships be used for transport again? I thought of something I'd like to show Mira. I think she'd really like it."
Mira gasped and covered her mouth, "W-well, what did you have in mind?"
