I spent much of Midwest Fur Fest alone sitting in a hole. Im really introverted in person and I didn’t really know anyone there, except for the person I went there with and they were busy. *shrug* it is what it is, and I’m glad I’m home.

As a former introvert - what you have to do oftentimes is be willing to initiate a conversation yourself. Often, the people around you may be feeling just as anxious or shy as you are & may not have the nerve to say 'hello' first. If you make the first move, you might just end up making a friend for life. People in this fandom are generally fairly friendly, and won't judge you if they're a decent person. At their core, cons are social events, and you'll feel so much better if you just put yourself out there and meet everybody you wanna meet!
Regardless, I hope your next con is better - what matters is that you're in a safe space, with safe people and are enjoying your time! I believe in you.
