Adding pepper
The sun rose slowly over the sleepy village as a new day began.
The flowers, weary from the cold night, shook their petals out as they opened to wave to the morning.
Some of the early risers were already awake and were beginning the days routine.
Soon the children were sliding out of bed, glad for the start of a new day, another chance to play with friends.
The bustling heart of the town was a beehive of activity, each person buzzing to their own clock and on their own schedule.
Delicate white clouds filled the clear blue sky, giving the scene a almost surreal beauty.
But all at once a new sound joined in with the bustling and laughs of children.
A loud whistle caused the bees to stop and stare, the children looking up from their games and fun
All that followed was a blinding flash as a new cloud dominated the sky
From a great distance is was an awesome
sight, a magnificent spectacle
But for the citizens of Hiroshima, it was a day they would never forget.
