The Swedish-K9 is a submachine gun produced by Juno Armatures, Ltd. based in Sweden. This is functionally the same as the Carl Gustaf m/45, even being 100% compatible with its parts. What makes this different, then? Well, not much. Juno Armatures took on a production contract for the Carl Gustaf m/45 during the later years of the second World War to help bolster production and potential future conflicts. This resulted in Juno Armatures designating their particular models as the "Swedish-K9," similar to the standard Swedish K name given to the original m/45. This makes it difficult for historians to differentiate the Juno Armatures productions from the others, as the only other different markings on the Swedish-K9 are within the interior of the receiver, showing a Juno Armatures company logo and the designation. All in all, this is a wonderful alternative production to a classic!
