This beat-for-beat happens to be at least once a year when doing shopping around the holiday season. Or just in Costco ANY time of the year, hence why I don't go there anymore (I never got a membership anyway, my parents used to drag me there until after one too many panic attacks I insisted I sit out those trips, even if it meant sitting in the car for an hour or standing out in the cold.)

Also a similar panic attack set in last time I was dragged to a beach while we were doing our usual shopping stuff. I didn't get a say in the matter, everyone else suddenly decided we were going. Instant panic attack, ran to the bus stop as quickly as I could (it was like, ten kilometers away and I actually had to navigate through a market event set up between the only road to that beach and aforementioned bus stop.)

All these years later I lever let my parents live that down. #AutismLife
