Every time I look at Ginger, they just give off strong neurodivergent vibes, and come across strongly as being on the spectrum. Allow me to explain;
-Their expression is always seemingly spaced out or dissociating, like they're avoiding eye contact, but when they do make eye contact, it's when they are most emotionally volatile or anxious.
-The scratching and biting is characteristic of stunning behaviour and they are very sensitive to sensory information.
-A previous post has them show fixation on the squishy cube.
-Another picture, not here at the time of commenting, has them show off their rock collection, where they go on a very detailed discussion about each of their rocks, indicating it's the subject of a hyper fixation.
-They tend to convey extreme ends of emotional range, either being intensely happy or paralyzed with anxiety, with practically no in between, unless it's a non receptive state.
-Their clothing choice seems to be recurrent throughout the image series, seemingly going for very comfort orientated outfits, namely the baggy shirt and underwear, or lack thereof in some cases, where deviating from that outfit sets off a heightened state of physical discomfort, with visible expressions of anxiety.
-Hyper sensitive to changes in their environment and highly strung.
Ginger is very clearly on the autistic spectrum, and I love them because of how well it is portrayed, even if not outright stated. I just feel a sense of kinship with them, being very much on the spectrum as well.
