DISCLAIMER: This is a request that was requested before I closed them permanently after 2022 due to being overwhelmed and losing a lot of sleep and losing out a lot on my own freedoms. YESSSSSS! THIS MASTERPIECE IS FINALLY DONE!!!!
Oooh, I'm getting a tad bit excited, but with how good it's turned out to be, it was well worth the wait in my opinion. This was one of those requests from 2022 so it just goes to show that I never
forget a request, and I'm REALLY close to finishing ALL of the requests that I've been given, with about only 3 from 2022 left before I am FINALLY free of the chains of the past and I can focus on my
real big projects! Trust me, folks, 2024's gonna be amazing!
I gotta love just how Jayjay is on the end of a particularly fun gag from Peex in this great big comic after accidentally scaring the TV-headed R-Cade with her size. But hey, as long as everyone found
if fun to see a big wolfy balloon go whizzing about in the sky before landing all deflated, then it's all good.
And oh, I've got another little Jayjay thing to draw as well. Stay tuned into Street Soul Radio for that.
Retrospective: Ah now here we get to the really big final requests. Like I said, I finally finished all the requests in mid 2024 but that meant chewing through the comic requests that I had left. And boy, did I dread some of them.
Not this one though! While it was quite a long one, I still did so so well and loved seeing the finished result! I decided to have it take place in my world of Street Soul since it would show that Jayjay does indeed have a connection with the world and she actually will be important for later stories in fact. I didn't think about it until now, but Jayjay is actually doing the exact same thing that Rotteen does in Rotteen The Hard all the way back in 2022, except this time she faces a good deal of reality. The fact that you can see inside of Jayjay from the puncture makes her feel more balloon-like and it's actually really satisfying. Also R-Cade and Line / Lid appear alongside me since I was really wanting to give them some more screen time especially after never really using them because of the other stuff I had to draw.
Either way it sure is great that Jayjay continues to feel full of herself and positive even in the face of a puncture. It's all in the spirit of fun, after all.
