After getting started on a customer's toaster, Todd began wondering why they didn't just buy a new one? I mean they aren't terribly expensive, and who'd be sentimental over one? But it kept him busy so he wasn't complaining.
After finding the issue and giving it a good deep cleaning he put it back together in time for a certain ursine to enter the front door, with a bit of a struggle on her part.

Todd's secretary Jackie looked up and saw the booty-licious, pear-shaped, polar-bear enter. Her head nearly touching the ceiling, all 9 feet of her and roughly as wide as she is tall.
Her tough public persona was on display as she said: "I vant to see the boss, I vould like to have a word with him."
Jackie, knowing that Vera didn't like to seem gentle in public went along with the tough girl act.
Jackie: "Y-yes miss, I'll get him right away." Giving the polar bear a wink as the other employees cowered under their respective desks.
Stepping into her boss's office, the cuddle-shaped koala said: "Boss, Vera Agapov to see you."
Todd: "Thank you Jackie, I'll come out there. Wouldn't want her getting stuck."

As he walked by her, Jackie couldn't help herself but to steal a kiss from his cheek.
Vera: "Vell now, Mr. Baker you and I need to have a chat." As she picked him up in one hand.
Todd gulped, unsure of what she was going to do.
Todd: "Y-yes Vera?"
Vera: "That is Ms. Agapov to you. Now then, she sniffed the air what is that smell? Am I having a stroke?!"
Todd: "I burned some crumbs in a toaster a few minutes ago. Sorry."
A look of relief washed over her face.
Vera: "Now, where was I... Ah yes. You and I are going to have dinner together tonight. Would you rather go to a restaurant, your house, or mine?"
Todd: "Oh well, I uh... I think I might have had plans with Jackie?"
Before he could say anything else on his mind Vera said: "She may join us, if she wishes."
Todd: "But what about Darlen-"
Vera: "Taken care of, she is fine with it."
Todd: "Well, uh I can pull a few strings and get a booth at Don Giovanni's for four tonight."
Vera: "Good decision. I shall be back later to pick you and Jackie up. Good day." As she sat him back down and got a bit stuck on the way out. "A little help please?"
Todd: "Y-yes Ms. Agapov." As he and Jackie gave her a gentle shove to get her out the door.

After the coast was clear one of Todd's employees, a rather obese German shepherd gentleman by the name of Cassidy crawled out from under his desk and said: "She is scary, I thought she was going to eat you or something. Wouldn't tackle a woman like her if you paid me."
Todd: "Heh, she's definitely an intimidating one if you don't know her well."
Cassidy: "Better you than me." As he got back to work on cleaning an antique clock.
Jackie: "You sure you want me to join ya boss? Not that I'd turn down a meal at Don Giovanni's."
Todd: "Of course you are welcome to come Jackie." He said as he took her hand and kissed it. "Besides, I was hoping you'd make the phone call. I have to make some repairs at the game store, you do not want to be in one of those where the air conditioning doesn't work."
As he dashed out to go do that....
