It's been a while since we've seen Thalvog, well, a very long while honestly. Here we have him floating, full of intimidation, and even flexing his might.
Who is Thalvog? : Thalvog is one of the False Stars, first appearing in the Story arc of Skin to Scales, "The Council of Chaos" as one of The Red Goddess' champions. He never partook in the War Against the Stars as he was long banished before they became to properly rule and conquer the Realm of Materia. He wished for peace, before he was betrayed by the ones he loved. His kingdom he spent hundreds of years cultivating, raised to the ground and his people were turned to ash. In his unquenchable hatred he was dragged from the streets, something in him snapped. For he managed to make the very ground bend to his will as it consumed the False Stars' barbaric army of raiders, dragging them to the infernal planes of the underworld.
Before the False Stars could challenge him, he suddenly vanished. Somehow ending up in the Realm of the Red Goddess where he partook in tournament after tournament, becoming stronger and earning glory for countless amounts of years. As he was to return to the Realm of Materia, he learned of the False Stars and their destruction by the hands of the Umbral Walker and his mighty army of rebels who suffered a fate similar to his own. With the Red Goddess pressing taking her draconic wings and wrapping them around the Realm of Materia, he has no choice but to follow her own orders. Wondering deep down inside if he swore to the wrong cause as it was his land to protect, and not for her to rule.
Annnnd- that's that! Until next time!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone. Reminder, Thalvog was helped written and created by my friend, Varik. I did do the rework and rewrite of the original character, but the original concept of a demon lord who is a member of the star family and was once a false star, still was upstarted, by them. So credit is due where credit is due

Fun Factoid: Star Wolf and Thalvog are the only members of the Star Family amongst the False Stars reign.
Fun Factoid 2: Thalvog has access to both extremes of geomantic magic of fire and earth.

That just looks so freaking cool to see, I'm loving this design already! This look is really playing into the more demonic aesthetic with a subtle mix of the DoomSlayer into this, and I flipping love it! Your works are absolutely sensational to see, and I'm so freaking stoked to seeing so much more of your art in the future! Keep doing great!
