As the sun set and the cold settled in, Scentrus walked nervously beside Luna, his heart racing as he tried to focus on anything but how stunning she looked. She donned a cute hat, a playful pink skirt paired with a black top that hugged her figure perfectly- accentuating her curves, sheer stockings, ankle boots, and a soft lavender scarf that wrapped around her neck, a splash of color that matched the faint blush on her cheeks as she glanced at him. He had finally gathered the courage to ask her out after weeks of lingering at her coffee shop, the invitation still vivid in his mind.
“You’re here a lot, huh?” Luna had teased, her piercing violet eyes locking with his as he pushed the doors open to the coffee shop. “What’s it gonna be this time? Another caramel latte?”
He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his neck. “Uh, yeah. But, um, actually, I was wondering…” He trailed off, feeling his pulse quicken. Her smirk deepened.
“Wondering what?”
“I was wondering if you’d maybe want to…grab a coffee with me sometime. Outside of here, I mean. Not that you don’t make great coffee here!” He stumbled over his words, his cheeks flushing beneath his fur.
Luna raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying his awkwardness. For a moment, she let him stew in his nerves before breaking into a smile. “You’re cute when you’re flustered, you know that?” She leaned in slightly. “Sure, why not? I could use some company.”
And now, here they were, walking arm in arm beneath twinkling holiday lights. As he handed her a cup of cocoa, her sharp eyes sparkled mischievously. “Why me?” she teased, her tone playful but curious.
Scentrus paused, a shy smile tugging at his lips. “Because no one else could ever compare,” he said, his cheeks warm despite the cold.
Luna rolled her eyes, though her faint smile betrayed her amusement. “Cheesy, but I’ll allow it,” she said, her voice softer now.
When she closed in and squeezed his arm lightly, he felt his nervousness melt away. Maybe tonight wasnt going to be that cold after all~ One of the prizes won by
