So, I stumbled upon a little game called Goblin Quest. It's a very fun, beer and pretzels kinda game. But getting people to play it with me might be...difficult. So I decided to doodle up my Clutch of Goblins for a hypothetical game. Maybe if you all like these brats, I'll make more. Maybe even make more for adoption if you want...
In the context of Goblin Quest, the five of them are born from the same Clutch and are members of the Black Moon Clutch - named so cause they all have the same mark on them. Is it a strange birthmark giving them a higher calling then their fellow misfits in the Dark Lord's army?! Or was it just scribbled on with a sharpie so a Wizard's Apprentice can keep track of which batch this one belongs to? You make the call!
From left to right...
Sklodgel: The acting-leading of the Black Moons. She is the calm and composed type; she's not particularly smart, but when compared to her shortsighted sisters, that makes her significantly smarter. She holds the dream of her fellow Goblins; to escape the Dark Lord whom they serve and live in a green valley somewhere far away.
Flen: The heaviest of the group and the strongest - well, strong for a Goblin. She does the most manual labor. She feels she should be in charge, but nobody voted for her when they were deciding. She tells a fantastical story of heroism on how she lost her eye - but really, she was trying to use an Orc's Crossbow, misfired, and the arrow ricocheted and she shot her eye out. HOW she survived the encounter is anyone's guess. The Dark Lord's apprentices still study this.
Yur: The prettiest of the group - at least, she thinks she is. And any Goblin prettier than hers, she plots to kill them. She has successfully collected the skulls of other Goblins that got more attention of the males. She is surprisingly good at this - now if only she could focus on something other than swindling other Goblins out of their food or shinies, then she'd rise the ranks from a Goblin Minion.
Dako: The fastest runner and the more daring of this Clutch, she's got the loudest mouth and is arguably the best fighter of the group - again, for a Goblin. The Trolls and Ogres of the Dark Lord's employ love it when she fights in the mud pits and they can bet their ill-gotten coins on her and Dako is an attention hog and lives for this. Anything taller than a Goblin though might give her some trouble...
Grint: The smartest of the group and the most skittish. She is considered Dako's twin and she's always dragging Grint into danger. As the smartest Goblin, she's the only one who actually knows how to read and has successfully read a few passages of grimoires that the apprentices have left lying around. More often than not, they're small and seemingly useless spells - at least until Sklodgel tells her what to do.
