I love it, but the name needs some more contrast against the background. A white background/outline should fix that.

Killer design otherwise. it would make a nice CD/Album cover.

i actually tried that, but the stroke is on the inside of the letters too and it made it way harder to read.

What app did you use to make it? I might be able to help you out with that bit. :)

i tried doing the lettering in photoshop. i know theres a way to get just an outline, but i havent done it in at least 5 years.

1) Duplicate the type layer.

2) Target the lower copy of the layer.
    Choose the magic wand tool.
    Tolerance: 16px, Anti-Alias, Contiguous.
    Click on the blank area outside the type.

3) Invert the selection.
    From the menu: Select > Inverse
    or... Command-I (Mac), Ctrl-I (PC)

4) Hide the selection.
    From the menu: View -> Extras (toggles setting)
    or... Command-H (Mac), Ctrl-H (PC)

5) Stroke!
    From the menu: Edit > Stroke
    Width: experiment to find the best one
    Color: White or light grey
    Location: Center
    Blending: Normal
    Opacity: 100%
    Preserve Transparency: OFF
    ( OK )



Give that a go, see where it takes you. :)
