Arlo was your typical bar regular—a ladies' man who talked a lot (almost too much) and occasionally got into scraps. When it came to bar fights, though, Arlo excelled, at least against opponents who weren't trained martial artists or anything fancy. Perhaps winning fights and still being a charmer is probably why Arlo gets a lot of attention. This attention would soon alter his fate through a chance encounter of the wicked kind.
One night, feeling more than just buzzed, Arlo stumbled around town near the woods. He accidentally bumped into someone—probably some goth girl or something. Whoever she was, Arlo didn't mean to collide with her and tried striking up a conversation. Maybe his charm could cheer her up. Unfortunately, the mysterious person's eyes lit up with rage. She cast a spell on him, transforming him into a feral donkey. Fearing for his life, Arlo galloped off into the woods in his new form before his mind went blank and his new instincts took over.
By morning, Arlo awoke with his mind restored, but his body had completely changed—he'd become a bipedal donkey, unlike the night before. Beside him lay a note explaining that someone had attempted to reverse the spell while he was unconscious but couldn't complete it. To become human again, Arlo must find the witch who cast the spell and convince them to remove the curse. Like any quest, this one is bound to have monsters. Whoever these creatures might be, Arlo is determined to stop at nothing to regain his good looks!
