In my last drawing of Gio (see here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58681689/ ), I drew Gio with a realistic five (5) fingered hand and five (5) toed foot, with only one of each being visible from the perspective he was drawn at in the picture - with only four (4) of his five (5) toes visible on the foot that had visible toes.
So this time I drew him as an art study, with him sitting up from the ground with a confused expression on his face. Both of his hands and feet are visible, so I decided to draw him with extremely detailed feet, such that you can actually see the soles of his feet on them, in addition to his toes, of which there are five (5) on each foot. His hands have five (5) fingers each (which includes his thumbs), except that his thumbs are partially blocked by his feet.
The reason Gio has actual, human-looking hands and feet is because he is supposed to be a humanoid cat, and having paw hands and paws for feet would not make that as obvious as human-looking hands and feet do. Also, if I were Gio, I'd want to have human-like hands too because they are more useful than paws and allow you to write, type, cook, use tools, weapons, etc. Because what's the point in even being a humanoid if you don't even have useful hands (with opposable thumbs) to do the previous aforementioned things that most of us reading this take for granted, or the ability to wear shoes if you choose to - like in exteme cold or hazardous terrain (such as an area full of broken glass)? Why even be humanoid (or anthro) at that point? He already wears clothes, anyways.
And before anyone asks - No, I do not have a foot fetish. I only drew his feet with extreme detail just to see if I could do it, and get it to look realistic within the limitations of pixel art.
In addition to that, I drew him with additional, shading on his forearms and pants, so that he wouldn't look flat, and so that his pant legs would have a clearly visible crease so that both of his legs are visible and have depth. The shadow behind him was created by coloring a silhouette of Gio in a darker shade of the background color, reducing the height of the silhouette by half (50%), and then skewing it horizontally 16 degrees so that Gio appears to block light and have depth rather than appear flat with nothing indicating that he has depth - like a shadow.
The colors in this picture are at 50% Luminescense with a 128 Red, 32 Green, tint - a brown color that is the same color as milk chocolate or cocoa powder. This picture consists of 29 Colors. Still drawn using only Microsoft Paint - specifically the Windows XP version, with the Windows 11 Version only used for its anti-aliasing-when-resizing-an-image larger-than-the-canvas glitch, which blurs images when they are enlarged past the size of the canvas - which is useful for recreating screen blur as a special effect, which I use as a feature to display my pixel art without the pixels being perfectly clear as an intentional aesthetic preference and choice that is based on how it would look on a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) screen, where pixels would not be perfectly visible like on a modern LCD/LED (Liquid Crystal Display/Light Emitting Diode) screen which ruins the look of the pixel art by being too clear.
