One Funny Small Lizard

"When it comes to designing Hyembs, none of her other forms are truly "canon" to her setting. The only one that could be canon would most likely be her Kobold form, but it would look massively different from the squires. I still like the idea of her looking "silly" and being "small and short", but still having that cartoon edge to her. I will admit, I also do like drawing her in a more "cunning", look and giving her a non-cartoonish design as well in some situations. Although, those looks are probably not truly canon to her universe. So, take this drawing as a more "in-line" canon to what she would look like."
--The piece is kind of self-explanatory and there's not much more elaboration I can give outside of that. This is just a doodle I had laying around, finished it, and posted it- a simple thought and some of the things I draw or think about behind the scenes

The universe that Hyembs belongs to does not connect to the greater setting I'm working on of "Skin to Scales" and is meant to be a way more cuddly, cute, silly, and adorable setting in comparison to my main works. "Hyembs the Dragon" is about a pink, airheaded dragon who is the self-proclaimed defender of "Grandiopolis." the last bastion of civilization in a fairy-tale world filled with kaiju and monsters that would want to see it destroyed. A powerful wizard created the dragons, but one day vanished as well as many of his creations decided to defect from defending this world. Hyembs the Dragon woke up centuries late and refuses to deny her absent creator's will and does not wish to see humanity and the good creatures of the world to be destroyed. Her and her Kobold Knights, and new Kaiju friends will defend what's left of the world at all costs from not only the monsters, but making sure King Oldbeard doesn't destroy his own kingdom.

Fun Factoid: Hyembs can properly use giant swords, buster swords, paddle blades, whatever you wanna call them thanks to the counterweight of her tail on the swing and using her momentum

She's just so freaking adorable to see with her more "canon" form, Hyembs just so freaking adorable to see from you, I love the way she looks so freaking much!
