With Halloween coming tomorrow, I wanted to get a reboot for these guys for a while now. Inspired by “Inktail's” big plushie cat and lead me the idea of making the two the perfect duo for spooky month. While also influenced by Cheshire's story I commissioned a while ago. Thus made Jola and Kotter shapeshifter "changelings" with their default form being two BIG plushie kitty cats. With art made by the lovely

A sweet as honey kitty (the big tabby) who tries to act serious but is actually innocent as heck. Often more kindhearted than his brother Kotter (Trick). Yet will go along with Tricks schemes to get back at folks who mistreat him or his bother. Having the little gremlin side, yet not as harsh as his brother. At the same time, acting a bit more responsible and fairly mild-mannered; tending to keep to himself. Not rude or standoffish, rather, being reclusive as being shy when interacting with friends. The teasing by others tended to roll off his back, and he could easily ignore them or even a “Cheshire” like smile and chuckle back at them. Unlike this brother, Kotter, speaking of such...

A mischievous and borderline devious black cat trickster for fun (and food) if getting sweets. A cheeky gremlin kitty cat who purposefully sabotaging and messing with people. Leading to gobble up people without regrets until he gets his candy. Yet very picky in liking specially candies, rather than the cheap ones. Always finding a way to get back at people. Reasons why he's the true troublemaker at heart. How ever he wasn't too cruel or dangerous by any means, he just enjoys practical jokes; nothing too much malice in his mischief. Yet he lacks the sort of boundary when it was wise and when it was not much to play such games and pull such tricks if there out of hand. He's more outgoing, but not necessarily more trustworthy. While also telling frightening stories and dark humor, sharing tidbits of these things with his brother and his friends. All to get a good scare, even with his sibling. At the end of the day, still caring and supportive of his brother to make him better to make up for his mistakes in trickery once the time is right.
