i was just seeing how he looked with his antlers shedded here, so i drew him in something a bit more seasonally-appropriate (even though i don't know if california experiences "sweater weather"...)
i'm also trying to make it clearer that he's a white-tailed deer, but i want to keep his little markings, so i'll probably handwave them as fallow deer ancestry ;;
