Explosions rang clear as Foresight ran out into the light. Smoke blended with the clouds above and shrapnel rained down painfully. Looking around, best she could, she could spot Deathless and their commanding officer taking shots at the incoming missiles. She grit her teeth as eyes went wide, and then she ran toward them, guns ready.

"Both of you, take cover!" She shouted, and aimed both of her judge pistols. Shots fired from each and another missile exploded. "You both need to reload, I'll cover you!" Then she jumped up on a rock to get more of a view.




The boys didn't argue with her, they had been firing non-stop and may have been on their last shots. They both ducked in cover and started reloading their runs; meanwhile, Foresight had kept shooting at another rocket. It took a few shots before the thing exploded, but she stopped it, there was about three other missiles still air-bourne. She aimed for the closest one, waiting for a moment, and then opening fire on it. The explosion happened like before, but there was still two other missiles coming. She kept track of the ammo in her pistols, one bullet in one pistol and two in another, may not have been enough for one more. Then a flurry bullets flew past in a stream, and then a missile blew up. Tremor Max came marching up, machine gun in hands as he turned gunfire on the other missile and blew it to smithereens.




"Keep watch," Foresight said, "There could be more forces afterwards." Then she got down from her rock and started reloading her pistols.

"I told you to stay put!" Firefight shouted, "What part of that didn't you hear!?"

"I saved your hide, you're welcome." Foresight growled, "You really think you could handled the last four?"

"We would have been injured, but we'd survive, then we'd get your way out of there" Firefight growled, "Why would you be concerned about that?"

"Maybe it's because I DON'T WANT you to get hurt!" Foresight shouted back, "Ever thought of that! We're not invincible!"

The two just stared for each other for a bit, "Perhaps we should just focus now on anything that follows up afterwards. They are bound to send someone to see if there's survivors."

"Fine." Firefight said after a deep breath, "Foresight, go make sure the cave is secure, The three of us will keep watch."

Foresight glared, she opened her mouth for a moment, but kept quiet. She walked back to the cave, looking back to their commanding officer once and a while.

"She has a point, you know." Deathless said, "We're not suppose to exist after we die. These soldiers have something to come back to, people who will miss them if they die."

"What's your point?" Firefight asked,

"All we have is each other."
