Byue hails from a small tribe in the western lands of the United Federation. When he came of age, he set out on a journey to become in-tune with the forces of nature. His travels took him up a lonely mountain, where he ended up meeting Tsering. After some initial belief the yak was a spirit guide, he settled comfortably in Tsering's home.

After some time, they've been officially dating. Byue is keen on sharing his knowledge with his boyfriend of the local flora, and is an expert at making tea. He enjoys hearing the stories of the other's youth, and sharing his tribe's customs.
