I agree, their hugs and mutual love are very readable. But really, why isn't Vlagg bleeding? Is it because the arrow didn't go too deep?

Since the arrow hasn’t been removed yet it may be serving as a blockage for blood flow. What little blood would seep out could also get absorbed by the jeans or just be running down the thigh inside the jeans.
