Gervic should have told Vlagg to tell Zaer the truth. Gervic and Zaer were really the only ones who know most of the events surrounding Gervic's capture.

Zaer is the most loyal friend a person can have. Sadly Gervic did never think that Zaer could stomach the truth so he hid.

But as Vlagg is now in danger there might be no other way than to reveal himself. Also I am quite sure Gervic is aao hiding from Zudrec'S ire, as that panther still has a grudge to send the wolf to his lost mate.

I'm afraid Zaer and Zudrec worked together. Because the wolf has a very interesting bandage, and I'm sure only in the cougar's homeland could they make one. As for the wolf. Zaer is too loyal to Gervic, and he might realize that his friend has already found happiness with a dragon.

I doubt Gervic will return willingly. His empire will not take him back due to his chimera and Degrall will not take responsible of their men's war crime for enslaving prisoners to death and Gervic's permanent transformation. He just want everyone safe, including Vlagg. It's better to live alone than be with others, attracting danger and harm with him
