Ever since the termites began integrating into everyday society, their prowess in engineering and construction has wowed the world over. Hoping to gain some of their knowledge and techniques for themselves, many universities have started tutelage programs to have their graduates study under a termite mentor. Unfortunately for them, the termites' knowledge is distributed among their entire population, meaning that while they can link their minds together to solve complex problems and plan out intricate feats of engineering, to an individual termite his engineering skills all come across as a gut feeling that he cannot properly communicate to individuals.
Doubly unfortunately, they seem to inexplicably prone to attracting size-changing phenomena, and their lack of individuality makes it difficult for one to even register when he's suddenly grown to twice the size of the surrounding buildings.
I saw this centurii-chan comic a while back and knew I had to do it with my termites. And then I knew I had to make it macro because that's my one thing. Thanks to
