Story of Sol | Day 18B - October 22nd, 2740
TRANSCRIPT
We arrived at what I can only describe as a fortress. Couldn't get a clear look, though, as today was what these bandits call a 'dark day'. Dracca clarified that we see 2 light days, then 1 dark day.
But, from what I can see of the fortress, It also has some distortions. It looks like the original building was cut in half like that city we came from, with scrap materials crudely bridging between them.
We walked in, and there were armed bandits everywhere, only illuminated by the glow fire, and the few working lights they had. Each one of them looking our way, watching on.
We walked into this dilapidated building. There were rows upon rows of prison cells, many occupied by wounded or starving people, often both.
They tossed me in this one cell. Almost felt like I was back at that facility I first woke up in. Though the facility would be preferable right now. Here I don't have an enclosed room, yet alone a clean one. And given the others looked starved, I fear that earning my meals will make mopping the floors seem like a bargain.
But only tomorrow can tell.
