Let’s talk about why people like diapers, and why labeling it with a blanket sexual title is a misnomer.

I don’t like the term ABDL. You’ll read why (imagine calling all TF enthusiasts “inanimate TF enthusiasts”). So we’re calling the overarching category diapers instead.
This is somewhat in response to the policy clarification of Section 2.7. I don’t think a lot of the community “gets” diapers. So I want to help fix that by analyzing why people like diapers. And why it’s a fixation and not a blanket sexual kink. FA’s made the mistake of thinking that if we post it to FA, we jerk off to it. Let’s fix that with informing them.
Can we at least get more Theme options for diaper posts than “Babyfur?” It’s not making our lives easier to put everything under “Fetish Other”. I will settle for AB and DL even if they’re also wrong, if it means we get any sort of meaningful support. Holy crap you guys, they actually did that!

I might make a post of my own like this given how much I've wanted to say similar for years. People have long forgotten the / in AB/DL and past that don't seem to understand how large of an umbrella it really is. For me im Asexual, and i mostly fall under the pure DL side of things under the sensory side with ASD and the sorts. Don't fall into any section of regression, age play, or babyfur. (Though i understand those sides and dont think ill of it.) Yet its been super common to be stamped as if I was.
