So, this is an exhibition of how well I can ink and color at this point in time.
... I've actually surprised myself. Seriously.
This was originally just a giraffe practice sketch since I think this is only the second giraffe I've drawn so far. And it was originally just supposed to be the head as well; I just... kind'a... got carried away with it and ended up drawing the rest of him. :3
I'm very proud and happy with how well this turned out given my past track record with inking/coloring. Not only that but the original sketch was great. By accident I actually made him look tall without even trying!
In the sketch stage I was thinking this would just be Giraffe #002 or something, but this may be a good design for a character named Keigan that I came up with a while ago. So, I guess...

And just so y'all know in case you ask why it's so skinny, I drew the initial sketch on the back of a receipt from Panera Bread. :3
I'm going to practicing shading and other stuff too, so this pic might be updated later. May even add something he might be looking at later. :P

And yes I did draw all that. Sketched up, inked and colored digitally. First time I inked and colored something that I felt was worthy of posting here on FA. As for commissions... well... as of right now I'm not, but only because I don't think I'm ready; I feel like I need to work myself up a bit more to produce quality work on a more regular basis. Wouldn't want to upset commissioners, y'know? ^..^;
I could definitely use the money though. ... And the practice.
