Story of Sol | Day 14 - October 18th, 2740
TRANSCRIPT
Managed to reach the city last night, though the sun was still high in the sky at 10pm, and brighter than ever. Nobody is in sight, and everything is crumbling down. I did find a place to rest hidden away, just in case.
When I woke up, I began looking around for supplies, but found little of use. No tech works, no tools, and no food or water. What I did find however, was lots of skeletons.
I did also find a fair amount of papers. References of STEEL Corp & resource mining. Most dated documents were of the year 2612 and 2613, with the most recent date I could find was April 10th, 2613. Suppose whatever happened here must have happened around this time.
Still, as I settle down for another night, it certainly has gotten darker outside, colder too. Thankfully, I salvaged some fabrics. it's not much, but will help keep me warm.
I estimate only one day left of supplies. So tomorrow I'll need to decide if I'm continuing the search in this city, or chance the roads back to the desert. The tech here looks like it's been salvaged, not deteriorated. So these roads must lead somewhere.
