Commissioned by Mr. Otter (of various differing names across social platforms)
One of my absolute favorite things to do is world build and gear design based on world lore tech. So if you come at me with an original character that needs new clothes I am SO THERE to brain blast with you and discuss ideas.
Now, on first glance you might think, “Oh no! This gryffon person lost their wings and now has mechanical ones! The trauma!”
Fear not, my empathetic viewer, her wings are fully intact! HOWEVER! This avian battle lass is geared with wing armor and feather-sleeves. The fabric of which is bullet proof and equipped with a smart camo-grid that makes it blend with a live feed of its surroundings. So ultimately a cloaking effect.
The bat-like “wingers” act as supported boning to protect and segment her feathers in their sleeve without putting strain on them, while also maintaining her natural mobility in flight.
This is all fantastical stuff, so even if some physics might be broken, here’s my rebuttal: “It’s just cool, man!!! XD “
The item slots were meshed I screen capped from Sketchfab Models. The helmet was kitbashes on three things I edited together, so that models does not exist, technically.
