I LOVE it. Rocks could use more darks though and maybe a few highlights on the scales of the dragon.

The background reminds me of a magic theme of his own world.

Dragons with hair always make me tilt my head a bit

some dragons, like me, are eastern. eastern dragons have hair or manes :3

well with eastern dragons it's more like fur. Fur I understand. But this fellow's sporting hair like a person would have, and it looks kinda weird to me xD

i has floofy fur down the back, neck, tail..as well as a beard. I dun understand it on western dragons so much, but i dunno.

These are furries we're talking about, everything is open to interpretation :P

Hey narse, long time fan, I just wanted to say how much of an impact this painting had on me. I remember seeing this first posted and my first response to it was " I don't care how long it takes, I want to paint like THAT." And ever since i became obsessed with wanting to learn how to draw dragons. It was the first time I felt seen as a dragon fan, that a painting of a dragon could be awesome and the main character of an image. Not just a side kick or the villain. I had this as the wallpaper for years on everything and it kept me going through all the times I was practicing. I still consider it the catalyst of why i became an artist and it still inspires me all this time later. I always wanted to tell you thank you.
